THIS SURVEY IS INTENDED FOR RESIDENTS OF THE GREATER EDMONTON AREA INCLUDING AREAS LIKE: FORT SASKATCHEWAN, STONY PLAIN, SHERWOOD PARK, SPRUCE GROVE, LEDUC, ST. ALBERT AND SURROUNDING MUNICIPALITIES

The Community Solution to Gang Violence (CSGV) is an initiative comprised of a diverse group of individuals, including private citizens, community organizations and all levels of government, working collaboratively on a strategic, community-wide approach to gang violence. We strive to: enhance a sense of community responsibility and commitment to address gang violence; promote positive youth development and develop conditions to prevent young people from becoming involved in gangs and create a community-wide plan and network of support to find solutions to gang violence The purpose of this survey is to gather information for the evaluation team about community perception of gangs and gang activity. This survey consists of multiple choice and long answer parts and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. If at anytime you wish to stop completing the survey or wish to skip a question, you can. All the information that you provide will be kept confidential and will be used in helping us to understand the feelings and fears of the Greater Edmonton community around this issue.
